"I incorporate spirituality into my communications
throughout the company," Holliday explains.
"Our philosophy is to produce a good product and
put our customers' interests ahead of our own. If we
do those things, we're automatically winners."
A keen interest in people and plenty of business
savvy have led Holliday, a member of the Nottawaseppi
Huron Band of Potawatomi, to success as a company
owner and entrepreneur. The Detroit-area native
studied industrial management at Lawrence
Technological University in Southfield, Michigan.
American Heritage Group
originally began as an executive
recruiting firm for the high tech field. When
Holliday and his partners started the company, their
goal was to place people in permanent sales
|
and technical support positions in the computer and
automotive industries. Within a few years the firm
expanded to include a division offering temporary
and lease administrative personnel.
Although the placement service remains an
important component of American Heritage Group,
the company has continued to grow and evolve over
the past eight years. Changing workplace trends have
prompted the firm to shift its emphasis from placing
professionals in permanent positions to providing
experts who can offer consulting services for employers.
The consulting division is quickly becoming the
cornerstone of the business as AHG focuses on providing
innovative solutions for companies striving to
become more streamlined and efficient.
